OUR CARE TEAM
Iris Netzer-Greenfield, L.Ac. and Chinese Herbalist / Founder
I’m Iris. I’ve been practicing acupuncture for over 20+ years. My training has involved working with men and women who have found a new balance in their life through Chinese medicine and Acupuncture. I’ve always had a profound interest in the human body, and the eastern perspective of life balance (yin/yang) has always resonated with me. Today I specifically address female imbalance and have had great success in treating a number of gynecological conditions, including infertility. I offer an eclectic mix of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Japanese-style treatments, which focus on the overall well being of the patient. My healing approach is simultaneously drawn from my education, clinical experience and intuition (my gut).
I’ve come a long way since my early post graduate years. My ‘rags to riches’ story started from a converted utility closet. Thankfully, my fellow New Yorkers were understanding and paid no mind to its size. Through determination and hard work, I have been able to expand my practice to what is now a beautiful treatment center with a skillful team of healers. Our patients seek help with a wide range of acute and chronic ailments, including pain management, digestive disorders, and migraines, and display continued signs of improvement through customized treatment plans. Our scope also includes modalities such as Cupping, Moxa and Gua Zha. My team and I understand that, for many, acupuncture is a new concept, so we welcome veterans, newcomers, traditional and non-traditional families.
I hold a Masters of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University in Los Angeles. I am licensed by the State of California, the State of New York and the State of Connecticut. When I’m not in Manhattan, I maintain office hours closer to home. Noa Health & Acupuncture in Westport, Connecticut is the sister practice to Acupuncture RemediesTM.
I look forward to working with you.

Kim Schwartz-Finkelstein, L.Ac. and Chinese Herbalist
I’m Kim. I have committed myself to helping people achieve optimum health through Chinese Medicine. I hold a Masters of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College in New York City. I am licensed in Acupuncture and I am also board-certified in Chinese herbal medicine.
My method of practice is based on the most essential belief in Chinese Medicine; restoration of the balance between body and mind is the key to wellness. Drawing on various styles of acupuncture (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean) and other holistic modalities, I create individualized treatments that are designed specifically for each person. Acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutritional supplements, and lifestyle recommendations are combined to enhance your treatment and speed healing.
I work with a variety of conditions, including women’s issues, (fertility, PCOS, menstrual irregularities, menopausal symptoms) pain management, addictive disorders, (smoking cessation, weight issues) migraines, insomnia, stress reduction, and allergies. I’m one of the few acupuncturists qualified in pediatric acupunctureI, so one may assume that I’m gentle, which I am. I’m thrilled to be affiliated with Iris; we’ve been working together over 8-years. And together with Iris, Marcy and Jessica we are committed to continuing a tradition of excellence and to helping each patient individually to achieve optimum results.
Marcy Gordon-Julius, L.Ac. and Chinese Herbalist
I’m Marcy. My goal is to help people feel the best they possibly can, and reach their ultimate potential in life. I discovered my passion for integrative healthcare during my time in Musical Theater, when my well-being was of the utmost importance in maintaining my career. The desire to promote health in the most natural way possible, led me to graduate studies at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City where I received a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. During the 4-year degree program, I completed 960 hours of clinical practice and graduated among the top of my class. I also recently completed a year-long fellowship program at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital as part of the Integrative Medicine Department. Treating the in-patient population in various units, I focused mainly on orthopedic surgery and pulmonology.
I am nationally board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and licensed to practice Acupuncture by the state of New York. I am also certified and have extensive training in Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation.
I consider myself a general practitioner but feel specifically passionate about fertility and women’s health, pain management, digestive issues, mental and emotional health and cosmetics. It is important to me to take the time to get to know each patient as a whole person, and not just a symptom. I strive to address the root of injury and illness in order to help my patients achieve and maintain wellness. I feel lucky to be working in such a well rounded environment. I truly love what I do.
Jessica Liu, L.Ac
I’m Jessica. As an acupuncturist, my goal is to deliver individualized care through a multidisciplinary approach and empower people to regain control of their health. I am also a clinical care coordinator guiding “previvors” and survivors of breast cancer throughout their journey of reconstruction from beginning to end. Caring for these incredibly strong women inspired me to pursue graduate studies at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in New York, where I obtained my Masters of Science in Acupuncture, to strengthen, support, and promote health. Supplementing acupuncture, I am also certified in holistic health remedies.
Interested in integrative medicine, I completed my internship in Shanghai, China at Shuguang Hospital, an affiliate of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I trained extensively in internal medicine, oncology, endocrinology, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as orthopedics. I am particularly passionate about treating women’s health, providing pre and post- operative support, lymphedema, diabetes, dermatologic concerns, musculoskeletal injuries and pain management. I seek to encourage conversation with my patients in regards to their health, and provide comprehensive treatment combining traditional Chinese medicine modalities (acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, etc.) and holistic remedies to optimize health and wellness.
I am nationally board certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and licensed to practice Acupuncture by the state of New York.
I am so thankful to be working with such a great and well rounded team at Acupuncture Remedies, and would like to give back to the many strong women who have taught and led me to traditional Chinese medicine.
